Assume Vivid Astro Focus | Shirley Jaffe | Denise Kupferschmidt
11R Eleven Rivington presents the final exhibition at our 11 Rivington Street location: Assume Vivid Astro Focus, Denise Kupferschmidt, and Shirley Jaffe is on view from September 9 – September 9, 2015. The show features painting, sculpture, works on paper, and separate site- specific wallworks by Assume Vivid Astro Focus and Kupferschmidt. The show spotlights the distinctive pictorial language of Shirley Jaffe (born 1923), an American expatriate artist who has been living in Paris since 1949, and has forged her own distinctive vocabulary of dynamic geometry.
